    • Pancreatoliths are uncommon finding in adult cattle which are generally asymptomatic (but are associated with pancreatitis in humans). Estimates of prevalence at slaughter are less than 0.5%. The are generally composed of calcium carbonate (as pancreatic secretions are high in bicarbonate.)
