- THYMIC LYMPHOMA
- University of Wisconsin
- Thymic lymphoma is a common presentation of visceral large cell high-grade lymphoma in younger ferrets. A triad of thymus, spleen and liver are often infiltrated with large lymphocytes with a high mitotic rate. Both T-cell tumors and B-cell tumors have been documented. A retroviral cause has been suspected in cluster outbreaks, but never definitively proven.
