    • Hypopyon , the accumulation of leukocytes itin the anterior chamber, is most often seen in association with sepsis. These leukocytes may accumulate due to the changes in vessels mediated by endotoxin, and culture of the anterior chamber is a low-yield procedure for identifying the causative pathogen.
