    • Amyloidosis is a common syndrome in aging hamster. The reticulated pattern is suggestive, but not always seen in cases of amyloid in the hamster. Amyloid in the hamster is also seen in the kidney, and proteinuria may result in atrial thrombosis and anasarca.
